My Indiana Home/ Living Room Corner

Always a clutter and a work in progress it seems - I still haven't figured out where everything goes. I think the solution is a giant garage sale!

One day we'd like to open up that wall behind the buffet which leads into the study and change the study into a formal dining room off the kitchen, as one of our friends or family members suggested. We were worried about drafts if we started putting archways in walls- previous owners have sectioned the house off and dropped ceilings to make it cozy. Then another friend suggested that we use a french door instead of an arch way to close off the winter cold, but still be able to see into the other areas of the house that are now hidden. Those are my great aunt Firma Phillips' paintings, my grandmother's buffet, and Benny's Aunt Sissy's lamp table.
