Kate and Annie are Belgian mules who worked six or eight years for the Amish. They are seventeen and eighteen years old respectively - only we're not sure which one is seventeen and which one is eighteen. We bought them from neighbors who had owned them for about six years. Harley said the very first day she met Kate, she fell asleep sitting on Kate's back - of course she was a lot shorter six years ago.
